Aikido in Egham

On Saturday 23rd August 2014, we ran a special class to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, lead by Sugawara shihan from the Aikikai Foundation’s hombu dojo in Japan. It was a tremendous honour for our little club to welcome Sugawara shihan to Egham.

Prior to this event, Sugawara shihan had given us our dojo’s name, “Sotenjuku”.

As well as our own members, we were joined by friends from other aikido dojos. Of course, we had a good class, and afterwards celebrated in a local countryside pub.
